Web Blog Content (Helping Hand)

Helping Hand is an organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During my Summer 2024 Internship with Helping Hand, I created 2 blog posts showcasing Helping Hand's programs and services.

I did research for, wrote, and edited both blog posts: one about the debut of Helping Hand's mascot, and the other about what having a disability is like. I prioritized an upbeat tone, an informative style, and involving the readers in the story so they become more invested in Helping Hand.

I know that testimonials make consumers more interested in a post, which can lead to higher engagement and positive brand association. That’s why I made sure to reach out to members
of the School Team and the Day Program Team to obtain client and staff testimonials for every blog post I wrote. I know how to connect with team members both in and out of my department so that my work is the best it can be.
