(IES Abroad Class Project)

My team considered relevancy, volume, and cost per click (CPC) when using Semrush to determine the best keywords for a hypothetical Google Ads campaign. This conceptual campaign would go along with the real TikTok page we were running, a cooking account for college students. We decided “Easy Lemon Cake Recipe” and “Easy Recipes For College Students” were the optimal keywords for our goals.

 

I wrote the ad copy for this project, and made sure it created excitement and appeal. I emphasized the differentiating factors of our online presence: that we featured quick, easy, and affordable dishes, perfect for our target audience.

I know how to connect the strengths of my offering to what the consumer needs, and how to convey that with written communication. My Google Ads Search certification refreshed my knowledge of the ad platform, and my Google Analytics certification allows me to integrate this powerful analysis tool with paid media campaigns. ​​​
